Anchor Tax Pros (“Anchor Tax Pros”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) provides bookkeeping, tax preparation, and business advisory services. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to our website and use of our Services.

By visiting our website or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our website or Services.

1. Services
Anchor Tax Pros offers bookkeeping, tax preparation, payroll, financial reporting, and business advisory services to individuals and businesses in Ontario, Canada. The specific services provided will be outlined in a separate engagement letter or agreement. We reserve the right to accept or decline any client at our sole discretion.

2. Client Accounts
To access certain Services, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary.

3. Client Obligations

You agree to:
- Provide us with complete, accurate, and timely information and documents required to perform the Services
- Review all work we deliver and advise us promptly of any errors or concerns
- Comply with all applicable laws, including tax filing deadlines
- Maintain backup copies of all documents and data you provide to us

4. Fees and Payment
All fees are quoted in Canadian dollars and are exclusive of applicable taxes. Payment is due as specified in your invoice or engagement letter. We use Stripe as our payment processor. Late payments may incur interest and may result in suspension of Services. We reserve the right to change our fees with reasonable notice.

5. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party platforms including Google Drive for document storage and collaboration, and Stripe for payments. Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the operation or security of third-party services.

6. Confidentiality
We will keep all client information confidential, except as required by law or as necessary to provide the Services. You consent to our use of Google Drive for secure storage and sharing of your documents.

7. Intellectual Property
All materials, tools, templates, and reports we create remain our intellectual property. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use materials delivered to you solely for your internal business purposes.

8. Termination
Either party may terminate the Services with written notice. Upon termination, you remain responsible for all outstanding fees and for any tax filings due. We may retain copies of your information as required for legal or regulatory compliance.

9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anchor Tax Pros, its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific Services giving rise to the claim.

We use reasonable security measures, including a VPN, but we are not liable for data breaches or security incidents caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.

10. No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee any specific tax outcomes, refunds, savings, or business results. Tax laws change, and results depend on your individual circumstances.

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Ontario.

12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Terms on our website or by email. Your continued use of our Services after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. General
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Legal Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and Anchor Tax Pros. If any provision is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
